This was Designer Floors second year to participate in the Decorating and Remodeling Home Show at the Nashville Convention Center.  We had a wonderful time meeting the thousands that came to the exhibit and look forward to working on all the new projects!  If you liked what you saw at our booth then you won’t believe your eyes when you see our showroom!  Somehow we were able to create an award-winning space with only 400 square feet    Just imagine what our store looks like!  We are getting new accessories in weekly and would LOVE to help you decorate your space!  Come see what’s in store for you from Designer Floors & Interiors

Nashville Furniture & Interiors…GRAND OPENING!

We are excited to announce the grand opening of Nashville Furniture & Interiors…

Nashville Furniture and Interiors, a locally owned home furnishings retailer, specializes in handcrafted European-style furniture, lighting, art, botanicals, and accessories. They are also the exclusive John-Richard dealer in Middle Tennessee.  Denny Jiosa, 4 time Grammy Nominated Jazz musician, will be performing at the official Grand Opening celebration. From 4 – 7 pm, join Nashville Furniture and Interiors and Denny Jiosa for music, wine and cheese.

Decorative Concrete…

Flooding in Bellevue…

April showers bring May flowers, right?  It was a different story here in Nashville the first weekend of May, 2010.  With over 13″ of rainfall in two days the city saw major flooding of all streams and rivers.  This flood has turned deadly and thousands have been left homeless.  Our location was one of the few local businesses who were fortunate enough to have been spared this horrific freak of nature.  The city of Nashville has definitely come out to support all those who have lost so much.  The city has been holding fundraisers through the American Red Cross and Second Harvest, as well as hundreds of volunteers have come out daily to help our local communities get put back together.  Earlier this week, President Obama declared many counties throughout the state as a State of Emergency and FEMA is now on location.  One of the hardest hit communities was that of Bellevue.  Within miles of our store hundreds of people have seen first hand this devistation.  Many of our former clients were residents in the River Plantation community.  On Tuesday a few of our employees went to visit former customers to help them pull out all things ruined from the waters.  We are offering 6 months special financing through our store and would love to help as many as possible to rebuild.

What’s been going on….

Has spring finally sprung?  This past Saturday our showroom was flooded with individuals who repeatedly kept apologizing for the way they were dressed.  There is nothing to apologize for when you have the ability to enjoy this wonderful weather!  Our showroom is located right down the road from local garden center, Moore & Moore.  As the weather is changing the crowds are coming out and are now ready to dress up their homes!  We have been staying very busy with all types of flooring projects.  Also, this past weekend we made the trip to High Point in North Carolina.  We can guarantee you that in the next few weeks we will have truck loads of beautiful accessories rolling into the showroom!

Designer Floors @ the Southern Women’s Show…

Make sure to stop by our beautiful booth this weekend at the Southern Women’s Show!  The event will be held at the Nashville Convention Center till Sunday, tickets are $10.  You will find us at booth #1417-1419!
